I finally overslept. :( After my nap the fourth night, I woke up four hours later in the couch. I had fallen asleep in the recliner, as I was supposed to. Judging from my cell phone, I’d first grabbed the phone, turned off the alarm, and then dumped down into sleep again. This resulted in quitting plans, which I of course got rid of when I grew more awake.

Yesterday, on the other hand, everything went well. Rosine and I spent about 3-4 hours trying to make my ultimate super emergency alarm work. We did get it to work, that’s for sure, but it was necessary to “cheat” a little. My super ultimate emergency alarm is Age of Empires II – it makes an unbelievably loud sound when  the volume is at max. The difficult part was to make it start (it must be started in Wine), because no matter how logically we did it, it didn’t listen. The solution turned out to be changing directory to the target folder, and run the command from there.

I decided to punish myself if I oversleep again, and that’s why I promised Rose that I intend to bake a raw cake. This might actually turn out to be fun, but it’s going to be an intimidating task to get started on..
